The NaO IIs speaker uses ScanSpeak
8545 midrange drivers and the SEAS
27TDFC tweeter front and rear. The
NaO IIt uses a SeasT25 Millennium front
tweeter. Low frequency reproduction is
handled using either a single or dual
Peerless XLS 10" woofers in a cabinet
designed to allow the user to switch
between a damped U-frame, or a sealed
box format on demand. The switchable
active circuitry is designed to provide the
same on axis low frequency response in
either format. The sealed box format
provides high maximum low frequency
sound levels and is ideal for HT
applications. The U-frame format
provides more natural bass response
and may be preferred for music. The fully
active version of the NaO II is lower in
cost but requires an additional 2
channels of amplification. Plans include
both the s and t options.

All NaO II options include detailed cabinet plans, parts lists, parts sources and assembly instructions for both
the NaO IIs (27TDFC front tweeter) and the NaO IIt (Millennium front tweeter).
All assembled NaO Active Crossover Equalization Uints are build in black power coated, rack mount (1 unit
tall), steel chassis with silver or black knobs and high quality gold plated phono jacks.
If you initially purchase Option I and later decide you would like to purchase additional options, full credit for
your Option I purchase will be applied. However, any PBC shipped with your initial purchase must be returned
to Music and Design for full credit towards.

stereo woofer system intended for home
music reproduction systems and requires
one 10" Peerless 830843 XXLS woofer
per channel in a damped u-frame. The
woofer equalization yields a 4th order, 25
Hz Linkwitz-Riley high pass acoustic
response which offers protection from
over excursion below Fc. The design also
includes a 4th order, active HP/LP
crossover with crossover frequency set to
100 Hz. The fixed crossover frequency can
be altered, as required, as directed in the
plans. The circuits can be easily adapted
to other drivers and alignments, and
crossover slopes from 1st to 4th order.
